Police are responding to a shooting at a Dallas suburban mall on Saturday that left several people injured, authorities said.
There was no word on the number of deaths or injuries inside the Allen Premium Outlets mall.
The shooting happened at the Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, Texas, about 25 miles northeast of Dallas.
Mass shootings have become commonplace in the United States, with at least 198 through 2023, the most this time of year since at least 2016, according to the Gun Violence Archive. The nonprofit group defines a mass shooting as any incident where four or more people are injured or killed, excluding the shooter.
