Sega planned a lot content for sound border in 2023, as playable Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose. So far, we know that there will be three major updates, culminating in a new story and playable characters. There will also be a lot of new mechanics, such as Juke Box, Photo Mode, and Open Area Challenges. More information on everything will appear closer to the release date.
All these updates will be free. Players will not need to purchase a DLC pack or a Season Pass to access any of the new updates. Although we don’t know the exact date yet, we do know the order in which things will happen. Update 1 will bring with it the new Juke Box, Photo Mode, and Challenge Mode. Update 2 will feature Sonic’s Birthday, Open Area Challenges, and a new Koco. Finally, Update 3 will add playable Tails, Knuckles, and Amy Rose sound border characters, as well as a new plot.
While not DLC, first big patch Because sound border recently launched for the PlayStation console. This patch fixed both major and minor bugs, including a bug where the boss would disappear if you retry the battle. Patch 1.10 will also appear on other consoles.
