Positioned at the back of the six-man field, jockey Hector Berrios made a ground-saving move along the rail throughout much of the turf marathon.

A homebred of Red Rafa Stud trained by Richard Mandella, Planetario is now 8-3-1 in 19 starts with earnings of $390,548.
