When Glitch was rescued, he weighed 14 pounds. The Pit Bull is so thin that it can hardly stand. Nikki heard about the puppy and volunteered to raise it. Glitch goes to her foster home and lies on the dog bed. Nikki’s dog, Petey, comes over and introduces himself. This is when everything changes!
Petey was the inspiration for Glitch, and the puppy followed him everywhere. He wants to learn everything from his doggy brother, and the results are spectacular! Glitch sees Petey running around the park, having fun and wants to try it out for himself. This motivation is everything for a dog like Glitch!
As the Pit Bull got stronger, it imitated Petey more. He climbed the stairs and wiggled his way onto the couch. Three weeks after bringing Glitch home, he found his bark—and Nikki and her husband celebrated! The puppy continues to thank Nikki and his wife for their new life with the sweetest hugs!
With the love of Petey and his adoptive family, Glitch is unstoppable. We are extremely grateful to people like Nikki. Maintenance is necessary. Consider fostering your local shelter. Without these transitional homes, dogs like Glitch would just struggle more. Give them a real chance to find their forever family!
