PDRM offers special RM50 payout for saman from 2022 and earlier, for one month starting April 21st


Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that the PDRM will provide a special level of payment for traffic summons for a period of one month, from April 21 to May 21.

Announcing this in a special keynote earlier today, he said that each summons can be paid at the rate of RM50 and is applied to all PDRM traffic summons issued in 2022 or earlier. It does not apply to traffic summons issued this year.

“Despite this, PDRM is committed to continuing to ensure optimal road safety, especially during the festive season. Therefore, to ensure smooth travel of road users with Aidilfitri, PDRM will implement Operation Lancar on April 18 and 19 by focusing on routes where congestion is expected,” he said.

“Furthermore, Operation Selamat 20 will be performed from April 20 for a period of seven days. For this purpose, PDRM will also work with other agencies including RELA and the Malaysian Civil Defense Force (APM) to ensure that routes have hotspots such as entrances and exits at stations. toll collection without traffic congestion,” he said in his report. speech.

The Prime Minister also announced that There will be no need to pay tolls on 33 highways for four days during the Hari Raya festival, starting at midnight tonight (April 19) at 12:01 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. on April 21, as well as all of April 24. Tolls will not be free on April 22 and 23.
