Owen Goulding imagines Nicky Henderson will have Saturday 25-1 winner

Saturday Race going to be an exciting one, with seven races on ITV4 for us to enjoy. Cheltenham is the feature meeting, with a pair of Class 2 racers setting the standard. The International Hurdle is the race of the day, but Doncaster also hosts an exciting game, with Division 2 being their biggest draw yet.

We will have horse racing tips for all actions, including NAP of the day and cumulative tips. After last Saturday’s 66-1, I hope to stay there for the next seven days. I found three horses for a bigger price and you can find all of my analysis below, best of luck on your Saturday!

Having had his last six runs at Cheltenham, it’s fair to assume Siruh Du Lac (January 16) love this place. Previously coached by Nick Williams, he recorded consecutive wins on this course and distance in early 2019, including a resounding success in Festival Plate with a two-pound lower rating.

While the next four starts don’t live up to that standard, his most recent, his second since joining David Pipe, was an eye-popping run. Encountering obstacles during an inappropriate three-mile ride, he made it a long way before weakening on the return leg.

Now he’s back on the fence, with race fitness under his belt, over the distance of his favorite Cheltenham. He’s dangerously rated and with the conditions certainly right for him, he’s a strong contender in every way under Tom Scudamore.

It hasn’t gone well for her in recent beginnings, but Desire for glory (January 25) Be treated dangerously and be sure to be the forgotten horse in this race. 8-year-old Nicky Henderson will have her first hurdle run since January 2020, where she finished at Cheltenham with a score of 134.

She passed 127th today, which shows you how well she is being treated now. This low sign is warranted, however, as there have been far more negatives than positives in recent starts. She turned down the two backs, but her latest run at Ascot was preferable, going well a long way before beating the first leg.

However, very few people entered that race, so I won’t mark that race too harsh. Now that she’s back through hurdles and discarded pieces, that’s another big positive. She will have a softer ideal base and going against her own gender will also make things easier. With all of that in mind, I’m glad I got the chance to top the rankings.
