After paying $400 in veterinary bills, man discovers rescue dog faked injury just to make him feel better
Russell Jones had a good day. The British man was able to walk on crutches after breaking his leg. Now, his beloved rescue dog Billy has also begun to limp.
Russell had no idea how Billy was injured, but clearly, something was wrong. Now, whenever the pair go for a walk, the hound (aka a greyhound/hound mix) exerts a significant limp on the streets.
So Russell took the crutches and took Billy to the vet to diagnose the problem. The veterinarian diligently took x-rays and other tests, the results of which revealed a rather unexpected diagnosis.
According to Russell, who posted about the incident on Facebook, the dog Billy was completely unharmed physically. According to the vet, the loyal puppy was merely expressing his “sympathy”.
This causes Billy to begin to limp – just like his injured owner. Check out this adorable video of the couple hobbling down the street.
