One of the weirdest medium format cameras ever made

Before it became famous with the critically acclaimed X Series and GFX Series, Fujifilm was quite active in the cinema industry, creating some great cameras that are still used by enthusiasts to this day. One of the coolest cameras they’ve made is the GA645Zi and this great video shows you how to shoot with point and shoot in medium format.

Coming to you from Negative feedback, this neat video introduces the Fujifilm GA645Zi. You don’t often see the words “medium format” and “point-and-shoot” used to describe the same camera, but the GA645 series was created for that purpose. The GA645 comes with a host of features designed to make it easier to use than most medium format cameras, such as a built-in light meter for automatic shooting and out-of-frame data printing. Figure. While those are all useful features, what makes the camera unique is that when held in its normal orientation, it shoots in portrait format. Look closely, and you’ll see that the viewfinder is oriented vertically instead of horizontally. The camera captures great images and its powerful autopilot capabilities make it a great choice for newer videographers. Watch the video above to see how it works.
