Lamont Olympic champion Marcell Jacobs of Italy added the European men’s 100 m title to his honors list in Munich on Tuesday.
Jacobs, who was the 60m indoor world champion in Belgrade in March but withdrew before the 100m semi-final at the world championships in Oregon last month, reaching a championship record of 9, 95 seconds.
Defending champion Zharnel Hughes took silver in 9.95 seconds with another Briton, Jeremiah Azu, taking bronze in 10.13.
