Oleksandr Usyk-Anthony Joshua 2 will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office
Sky Sports Box Office has officially secured the rights to show the world heavyweight title rematch on August 20 between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
The news was revealed this morning on Sky Sports Boxing’s Twitter feed, which has now ended speculation where UK match fans will watch and watch. No pricing has been revealed at this stage.

Sky and Joshua will reunite again though ‘AJ’ bid farewell to broadcasting giant and put pen to paper on deal with DAZN. The England star’s future matches will be shown exclusively on the sports app following next month’s clash in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The news is sure to please Sky’s Head of Boxing Adam Smith who had hoped Joshua would re-sign with the company that had worked with the former champion since he debuted professionally. Sky has shown all of the 32-year-old’s pro fights and developed him into a pay-per-view boxer in that time.
Sky Sports Box Office is also the site of Joshua’s two losses so far in his career. His shock defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019, the match he avenged later that year, and the loss to Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September 2021.
On that night, Usyk proved that stature and power are no match when you have a superior skill set, something the Ukrainian will prove again next month when he defends his titles. its WBA, IBF and WBO.
For Joshua, another successful rematch will see him become a three-time heavyweight champion before moving on to the next chapter of his career with DAZN.
And the 2012 Olympic gold medalist will hope that new coach Robert Garcia will sprinkle some of his California magic on Joshua in a fight he goes into as the underdog.
