Pendrith, an Ontario native, played in the RBC Canadian Open twice as an amateur at Kent State University and once as a professional, qualifying twice. Pendrith competed on various international tours before joining the PGA Tour full-time during the 2021-22 PGA Tour season. Pendrith looks set to become the second Canadian golfer to win the RBC Canadian Open in a row and Taylor won at similar odds as he did last year.
