The Under Tack Show for Ocala Breeders’ Open Sales March 2023 for 2-year-olds in training begins March 14.
There are currently 4 sessions, with Hips 1 – 208 winning on the first day. Hips 209 – 416 will be active on March 15, Hips 417 – 624 will be active on March 16, and Hips 625 – 833 will be active on March 17. All four sessions begin at 8 a.m. EST. ET. Under Tack Show results are posted on the OBS website.
A total of 833 juveniles were cataloged for sale over the three days, currently scheduled for March 20 to March 22, with all sessions starting at 11am. Hips 1 – 278 will go on sale on Monday; Hips 279 – 556 Tuesday, and Hips 557 – 833 Wednesday.
Under Tack Show will be streamed live via the OBS website at obssales.com and through the TDN, DRF, Blood-Horse and Past The Wire websites. Exercises are recorded and can be viewed on site, in their entirety or by individual hip counts. They will also be available in the Video Room in the Sales area as well as a number of kiosks in the breezeway and covered walkway. Walking videos and configuration images may be available along with tactics videos for each horse. Visitors to Ocala will find videos available for in-room viewing at The Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and Ocala Hilton, in addition to lounge viewing at the Hilton.
