North Edmonton collision leaves motorcyclist dead – Edmonton


A 44-year-old man was killed after the motorbike he was using collided with an SUV in north Edmonton on Thursday afternoon.

In a information launch issued Thursday evening, police stated officers have been known as to a crash on 97 Avenue north of 137 Avenue at about 4:45 p.m.

“It was reported to police {that a} 2013 Dodge Journey was travelling southbound on 97 Avenue when the driving force tried a left-hand flip simply north of 137 Avenue,” the Edmonton Police Service stated.

Police stated paramedics tried life-saving measures on the motorbike rider after they obtained to the scene however he died of his accidents on the scene.

The 78-year-old man driving the SUV was not injured.
