Nissan Z Nismo 2024 revealed before the official launch date
Nissan has started teasing its version of Nismo Latest Z, with more details to be released this summer. For now, we only get video of the Nissan Z Nismo going sideways in the hands of Chris Forsberg, a three-time Formula Drift champion.
According to the Japanese automaker, the Nismo Z will come with race-appropriate performance, bold styling and dynamic design, the last two elements clearly shown by the new bodykit in the video. 45 seconds long.
More powerful than the standard car, the Nismo Z features a new front bumper with a revised grille that has a trapezoidal shape as opposed to the original rectangular one. You’ll also notice the spoiler lip and vertical wings at the corners of the front fender.
Other additions include sportier side skirts and a revised rear bumper, which works in conjunction with a new duck-billed spoiler that extends over the wheel arches for a noticeably wider look and feel. In keeping with tradition, the bottom also features the iconic Nismo stripes and there’s no shortage of badges on the exterior.
The standard Z version features a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 405 PS (400 hp) at 6,400 rpm and 475 Nm of torque, but it’s unknown whether the Nismo version will get a power boost or not. Are not. It’s also uncertain if a six-speed manual is available, as the car in the video has paddle shifters that point to an automatic (9-speed for the regular Z).
One clear performance improvement is that the Nismo Z will come with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires instead of the regular model’s Bridgestone Potenza S007 rubber. Inside, the digital instrument cluster features a Nismo-specific display, a steering wheel with a red centerline, and Recaro sport bucket seats.
