Earlier this week, Nintendo dropped a major firmware update – Upgrade the software to version 14.0.0. The highlight of this update is the ability to group software together. While it not exactly the directory feature fans requestedit will make your game library a little easier to navigate.
Now that the update has been out for a few days, Nintendo has put out a call on social media to find out how Switch owners have been using the new feature, and exactly what groups of people have been using. create:
As you can see in the screenshot above, groups allow you to create all sorts of categories from Mario, Zelda to Pokémon. Here’s a summary of how folders work correctly, in case you missed the initial message:
