Week 18 of NFL the season starts on Saturday with a double header, when Jacksonville Jaguar narrowly defeated Tennessee Giants at home to win the AFC South Championship and take the AFC 4th seed in the knockout round.
Earlier, Patrick Mahomes and Chief of Kansas City take something down Las Vegas raid hit the road in the first game of the day, 31-13, knocking out the AFC No. 1 seed in the process.
Here are the highlights of Saturday!
Jacksonville Leopard 20, Tennessee Giant 16
Long FG drive
After making it through three innings to start the game, the Titans put together a turn 17 times in their next possession, which helped them convert twice down to fourth. The header resulted in a goal at 51 yards.
Titan takes advantage
With the ball in Tennessee territory, Trevor Lawrence fumbled in a game of bluff, and the Titans recovered at their own 31-yard line.

Seven innings later, the Titans’ third series QB Joshua Dobbs tight ending Chigoziem Okonkwo for a 21-yard touchdown – but not before a means hard arm the words Derrick Henry. Just like that, Tennessee led 10-0 midway through the second half.

Lawrence redeemed a little when he took possession of Jacksonville then, connecting with Kirk to gain a 33-yard clutch advantage to move the chain. However, the second year QB failed to complete it in the third down leg, and the Jaguars lost the ball.

Jacksonville got a big boost after knocking down Dobbs near the midfield and sending it back to Tennessee’s 25-yard line.

However, Lawrence & Co. once again failed to play at the end zone. Just like that, it was a third three-point game on Saturday after the Jaguars tackled another goal early in the fourth half.
Big stop
The Jaguars’ defense made a crucial stop on the third downhill, firing Dobbs and forcing the Titans to take the lead on the next drive. The score was still 16-13 when the fourth half started.
Jags in the lead
Jacksonville led 20-16 at the end of the fourth half, thanks to a defensive save by the full-back Josh Allen.

The Titans tipped it off in their next drive, and it’s a win set for the Jaguars.
Kansas City Chiefs 31, Las Vegas Raiders 13
Love for the number 3
Both teams wore “Love For Damar” shirts before the match started. The shirts were made to show support for buffalo bill safety Damar Hamlinwho fell in a Monday Night Football game with Cincinnati Bengals.
Hamlin is now breathing on his own and is able to talk after having his breathing tube removed, his agent shared on Friday.

Mahomes and the chiefs wasted little time attacking, for Justin Watson hit a whopping 67 yards in just the second run of the game.

On the third goal, Mahomes made a shovel pass to Jerick McKinnon with a score of 2 yards, giving KC a 7-0 lead early.

Daniel Carlson crossed the goal for 54 yards for the Raiders in the ensuing possession to close the gap. Las Vegas then forced KC to beat in the next possession with the latter pinning the former at his own 5-yard line.
After appearing ineffective, QB Raid Jarrett Stidham was blocked by Chiefs’ safety Juan Thornhill.

Taking over at the 44-yard line of Las Vegas, Mahomes headed wide JuJu Smith-Schuster for a 28-yard pickup, followed by a 14-yard pickup from Kadarius Toney. Afterward, Ronald Jones ran in Kansas City’s second encounter.

After the Raiders failed to score from two yards, the Captain took over and put together a 98-yard drive that ended with an 11-yard touchdown by Toney. The score gave the captain a 21-3 lead.
Untimely revenue
During the ensuing possession, Stidham was plundered by the Chiefs’ defense. Mike Dannaand George Karlaftis recover the loose ball with nine seconds remaining in the second half.
Two plays later, Harrison Butker make a goal on the 44-yard field. Just like that, Kansas City took a 24-3 lead after halftime.

Kansas City extended its lead to four points early in the fourth quarter. run backwards Isiah Pacheco started running 31 yards to Las Vegas’ 2-yard line.
Three innings later, the runner scores the goal. The captain led 31-6 at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
Too little, too late
The Raiders first found the end zone with 6:38 left in the fourth as Stidham hit a wide Renfrow Hunter for an 11-yard score, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback.
Kansas City went on to win by double digits, securing the No. 1 seed at the AFC in the process.
