Prime Minister Nadhim Zahawi has told the Daily Telegraph that even average earners with a £45,000 salary will need government help to pay their energy bills. Speaking in an interview, Mr Zahawi said options being presented to the next prime minister include freezing the price ceiling, increasing benefits and a loan scheme for energy suppliers.
