As February 2022 begins, Warner Bros. Japan, Liden Films, Netflix announced that a Bastard anime will appear. Now there’s a full trailer showing what the new adaptation will look like. The Japanese voice actors also talked about the show and the roles they will play.
First, here’s the trailer. The focus is on Dark Schneider, the star of the series, as you might expect. It looks at his moments of strength. However, Tia Noto Yoko, Nei and Ninja Master Gara also appear.
There is also an anime special announcement. Netflix spent an hour watching Bastard: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy cartoon. The presentation was led by Japanese voice actors. Kisho (Dark Schneider) Taniyami, Tomori (Tia Noto Yoko) Kusunoki, Hiroki (Ninja Master Gara) Yasumoto and Yoko (Nei) Hikasa. They talk in general about the series, their characters, and the new show.
Netflix did not mention whether there will be an English dub of the show. So far, only four main actors have been revealed. Besides, Key images revealed only shows Dark Schneider with Tia.
The Bastard: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy anime will appear on Netflix worldwide in 2022. Netflix is also working on Scott Pilgrim anime adaptation.
