The full patch notes have been shared on Dead Cells official websiteand we’ve gathered them together for you to see below:

Important Features

  • New survival weapon: sewing scissors.
    Instakill all enemies it hits, as long as at least one of them dies from the weapon’s standard damage.

    – Added mini bosses to mob spawners

    – Bosses are no longer scaled down to level 1! (no more 20 minutes of fighting)
    – Changed the UI for selecting mobs to a grid based interface.
    – Added Training Dummy for DPS calculation.

balance

  • Slow The effect now stacks up to 5 times. Each stack has a larger slow, then affected enemies are frozen on the fifth stack.
  • A series of Mutation remakes:
  • combine: Allows increased damage with each melee attack for a period of 2.5 seconds (of course the window will refresh after each hit). It scales exponentially, go crazy with it!
  • poisoned flask: Rechargeable even if your battery is not completely drained. It also adds 1 more elite to each biome when equipped.
  • network: Marks enemies with ranged attacks, no need to have an actual bullet stuck in the mob’s body anymore.
  • crazy person: Now stacks and makes you immune to stun.
  • What doesn’t kill you: Now grants healing instead of healing.
  • evoke: Now also grants healing instead of healing. It’s proportional to the max health of the mob you kill, which means you can heal more by killing stronger enemies. The cap has been removed, but it becomes less effective as you get closer to max health.
  • freezing: Now stacks with the slow and works as a full stack on frozen targets.
  • Die inside: Double your life but block ALL sources of healing.
  • Disengage: No more cooldown!.. but can only be activated once per biome.
  • Return to Castlevania equilibrium:
  • Whip Sword – Whip Type Now go through the shield.
  • Sword Whip The switch attack hitbox tends to fail, it should now be consistent with its visual FX which means it won’t just hit one target anymore.
  • The ghosts gathered by death scythe now has a slightly smaller explosion radius.

  • recovery stone now deals slightly more damage and has a smaller but longer period before it can “catch it” (i.e. crit). Its cooldown now starts when it is destroyed.
  • Holy water has a larger vertical damage box and flames now deal damage.
  • Medusa’s head Deals more damage and crashes farther.
  • Added long cooldown when Cat killed by Queen.
