When is National Pet Choking Day?
In an effort to raise awareness of the preventable tragedy of pet choking incidents, National Pet Choking Prevention Day is celebrated on June 22.
Pet Awareness Day launched by Bow Wow Lab in 2023 with the aim of educating pet owners and the general public about the potential hazards and preventive measures of pet suffocation.
National Pet Choking Prevention Day was introduced by the inventors of the life-saving Bow Wow Buddy™ safety device, which holds bullies and other long-lasting chewable objects. This helps prevent the dog from choking on that last bit while also reducing the risk of a potential blockage on the end of the treat.
In partnership with renowned veterinarian and spokesperson, Dr. Judy Morgan, National Pet Choking Prevention Day has a simple mission of “Goal: No” by spreading awareness about the animals. daily pet choking hazards around your home.
