We haven’t finalized the plan but Jacques Le Marois is working on it. We wanted to give her a four- or five-week break between races so everything went well.”

Richardson said: “We will leave Sacred in both races but we prefer Lennox. “We’ll take a look at the fields but seven springs is probably the ideal ride for her. She runs so fresh and that’s why she runs so few times – she’s very playful and they’re great. I will race well.
“Twilight Calls is going to Goodwood and is improving with every run. We’ve had a very dry period and he’s come off this good ground.”
The Prix de l’Opera (G1) and the first trip to the Breeders’ Cup are among the potential end-of-season targets for Nashwa, who has become Imad Al Sagar’s first home-like classic winner at Blue Diamond Stud on landing the Prix de Diane Longines (G1) just 16 days after finishing third in Cazoo Oaks (G1).
Teddy Grimthorpe, race director for Al Sagar, said: “Nashwa is on her way to the Nassau and things have been simple since the Prix de Diane. This is her first time traveling and is a learning curve for her but she went very well and a mile and a quarter seemed to be her best trip yet.
“Imad was excited about going to Goodwood and she got there in good shape,” Grimthorpe said. “She’s got a lot of good picks for the rest of the year — the Prix de l’Opera and the Breeders’ Cup will certainly be in her range as well as possibly going head to head with ponies in the 1-and-a-half mile group —” But we will consider it in the near future.”
