Nashville apartment shooting: Police identify suspects, 2 brothers killed in apartment shooting
The 40-year-old’s mother, 16- and 20-year-old sisters and their 13-year-old brother were all injured. All are expected to recover.
The police also identified one of the two suspects as Christian Akail Johnson, 29, who was shot and killed. Police did not identify the second suspect.
“Robbery is one of the motives being considered for the shooting,” police said, noting that detectives continue to work to determine a motive for the shooting.
According to the victims, Johnson and another person entered their residence armed after banging on the front door, police said. Three guns were recovered inside.
“The chain of events after their entry is still under investigation,” police said.
