“Rest in peace, Mom. June 22, 1946—December 7, 2022,” Whitney captioned a video featuring Barbara’s photo. “My mother passed away last night just as the intro to her favorite movie was playing. Dad, Hunter, and I hugged her as she took her last breath. It was 10:32 p.m., the exact moment she gave it. I came to this world almost forty years ago.”
Barbara has amyloid cerebrovascular disease, an incurable condition that causes dementia, seizures, and strokes. Whitney said her mother has had three strokes in the past five years, including twice in the past 12 months.
“My mother is our family’s greatest gift,” she continued. “We can never love, respect or value another person more.
