Movie Friday: Solarcan Puck is a compact solar camera in a can the size of a burger: Digital photography review

After more than a year of tinkering with the design, the team at Solarcan announced their latest super long exposure camera in a box, Solarcan Puck. As the name suggests, this version of Solarcam is a scaled-down version of the original 16oz version.

Like the original Solarcan, the Solarcan Puck is a simple way to record the sun’s path through the day, week, month or year. Each Solarcan Puck holds three drying racks, each with a front cover to protect the dryers underneath.

The video below shows the Solarcan Puck in action:

Each Solarcan Puck comes with a Puck, two small colored cable ties to attach it to different positions, an adhesive spacer for the cable ties, three exposure points and a guide in case you want one. physical guide to set up Puck.

Solarcan is also hosting a special for Black Friday. If you buy €30 (~$33) for other devices from Solarcan, they will ship you a Solarcan puck for free. However, it doesn’t seem to be possible to buy the exclusive right now, so you’ll have to take advantage of the Black Friday offer or hold off until it’s available on Solarcan online store.
