Capcom announced Title 2 update for Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak coming Late September 2022. The free title update will add subspecies of Flaming Espinas, another rare subspecies, and “power-ups”. More information will appear some time closer to the release of the title update.
Flaming Espinas is a legacy monster that appeared in the past Monster hunter titles. Capcom introduced the monster as Subspecies Espinas in Monster Hunter Frontier. Compared to standard Espinas, Flaming Espinas have a stronger orange coloration and focus mainly on fire-based attacks. In Borderthe monster has the ability to inflict a Defense Down debuff on the player instead of paralyzing.

Furthermore, a second free title update will be released in late September. Capcom has yet to release full details on the update. As such, fans can expect to see more monsters revealed in the coming weeks. The third free title update is still listed with a Winter 2022 release date.
Capcom also released its first free title update earlier this month. It added various existing subspecies to the game, as well as Abnormal investigation mechanic. New subspecies include the return of Golden Rathian and Silver Rathalosamong others.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is available to play on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch, and Title Update 2 will release late September 2022.
