Missy Elliott is honored as the first female rapper in Rock & Roll HOF
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (aka the Rock Hall of Fame) recently honored this year’s inductees, and—while all artists deserve fame—a series of words unique greetings for Ms. Elliott.
Specifically, Missy’s introduction makes her the first female rapper to be included in the Rock Hall!

Missy Elliott is grateful for the support of Supafriends
Exciting news arrived on a Wednesday morning Notificationand the name Missy immediately caught everyone’s attention.
While scrolling quickly through Rock Hall’s full list of inductees will show names like Eminem, Tupac ShakurAnd Jay-Z, there are no recognized female rap stars. However, that will change when Rock Hall holds its introduction on November 3, 2023.
In response to the announcement, Missy jumped on Twitter and expressed her gratitude. She also admits, “This door is OPEN now.” Stage!

Missy went on to talk about how people calling her “irrelevant” or “washed out” would “crush” her. [her] sometimes.” However, she persisted and noted that her work speaks for itself.

Chaka Khan & Don Cornelius Of Soul train Will Also Be Honored
We must also point out that Ms. chaka khan will also be inducted into the Rock Hall! In fact, she will be honored in the category of Outstanding Music Award.
In addition to these two superstars, other inductees include George Michael, Sheryl Crow, Willie NelsonAnd Rage against the machine. Soul train star Don Cornelius will also be featured in the Ahmet Ertegun Prize category.
John Sykes, President of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, finally noted: “This year’s incredible inductees reflect the diverse artists and sounds that have defined rock & roll music. roll.”
