Missing girl in Bristol: Police concerned about ‘vulnerable’ teenager Maddie missing for two weeks | UK News
Police are increasingly concerned about a 15-year-old girl from Bristol who has been missing for two weeks.
Madison, known as Maddie, went missing on April 26 after leaving her foster parents’ home in Southmead, saying she was heading to the stores.
According to Avon and Somerset police, she is known to use social media to meet people who can give her money and a place to stay.
She is described as Caucasian, 5ft tall and of medium build, with shoulder length brown hair.
Officers went door-to-door in Southmead on Tuesday asking and handing out flyers with Maddie’s picture on them.
Investigators also released CCTV of her last known sighting.
The clip was taken on April 26 on Santon Road at around 2:34pm and only captures her feet.
Detective Inspector Stuart Toms said that Maddie “is a vulnerable and at-risk teenage girl and we urgently need the public’s help to locate her and ensure that she is fine.
“Maddie – if you see this please let someone know you are safe and healthy. Your family, adoptive parents and friends are worried about you.
“Maddie is very active on social media but she changes her account often.
“In addition to urging anyone who may have seen Maddie to contact us, we’d also like to hear from anyone who has seen her online to contact us.”
Anyone who sees Maddie is asked to call 999, citing reference 5222098703.
Those with information about her whereabouts or location online were asked to call 101, citing the same reference number.
