Mercedes EQS refresh, roadside EV chargers, full-size pickup truck sales: Automotive news today

Voltpost has announced its implementation plans lamppost-based EV chargers in major US metropolitan areas including New York, Chicago and Detroit. These Level 2 AC chargers will feature a 20-foot retractable cable and a support app, and the installation cost is a fraction of the cost of installing and installing a separate charger.

Ford, GM and Stellantis have relied on sales of expensive vehicles large pickup trucks to effectively fund the push of electric vehicles. But now, will the decline in sales due to high interest rates impact future EV product deployment?
