Memorial Sloan Kettering CEO hired by Hearst



Atefeh “Atti” Riazi will leave her position as chief information officer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, after being hired by Hearst for the same role.

WHY IT IMPORTANT
Riazi joined MSK in February 2020, with a mission to develop a strategic, enterprise-wide IT plan and integrate digital resources across the organization.

Over the past three years, she has led the business reorganization and new IT implementation across the healthcare system, managing network infrastructure, applications, systems security, integration and analytics to help improve the research team, clinical and administrative of the cancer center.

Prior to joining MSK, Riazi documented three decades of expertise dealing with other digital transformation jobs at organizations including the United Nations, where she served as IT director and assistant secretary general. since 2013.

At Hearst, Riazi will begin November 1 and report to Chief Technology Officer Mahendra Durai, senior vice president and chief technology officer.
