A great prediction from McDonald’s: He’s beating Viktor Hovland, even though the Norwegian recently finished third at the Players Championship. The 25-year-old has finished in the top 20 in seven of nine leagues this season, but has struggled at Augusta National throughout his career.
After finishing in 32nd place as a lowly amateur in 2019, Hovland finished 21st at masters in 2021 and shared 27th place at last year’s tournament. He only finished below par in two of his last eight laps on the court and is yet to break the 70 mark at Augusta.
