Marvel Creates New Black Panther for Duke Winston. … Not Letitia Wright!
When Chadwick Boseman tragically died, the Black Panther film franchise fell into disarray – with sequel producers needing to name a new hero to take over.
They originally planned to use Letitia Wright, who played Shuri in the first Black Panther – to take on the role. But Letitia’s political views may have cost her her chance.
Marvel seems to have changed their plans. Letitia Wright is currently at home in the UK, while the film is being shot in Atlanta, MTO News confirmed.
The Hollywood Reporter last week published an article stating that production of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be halted, as Wright recuperates at home in London from an “injury” she sustained on set in Boston. in August.

the end for Black Panther 2 has been adjusted and Shuri will eventually hand over the title. Looks like Shuri will pass the title to Duke Winston’s M’Baku.
