This month, one organization I would like to highlight is Vet Set Go, which is running an essay contest for middle school students to win a scholarship award package for Auburn University’s Junior Veterinary Camp in Alabama during the summer. The deadline to enter is March 31.

March 1 – March 31, 2023: Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 can apply for the “Camp Competition to be a Veterinarian” for a chance to win a scholarship award package to attend Auburn University Junior Veterinary Camp in Alabama in the summer. March 26, 2023: Bark Mitzvah Mixer at Houston Reformed Judaism Congregation. Pet sellers, food trucks, gifts, music, BarkMitzvah services led by rabbis. Bark Mitzvah is open from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., free of charge and open to the entire community.
