For most of us, it is unlikely that we will ever have any interaction with a wolf. After all, unless they are fully acclimated, wolves are very afraid of humans. But for Andrey, it can be an everyday event. He lives with a beautiful black wolf named Akela and they played together as if he were a puppy.
One of the videos Andrey posted of him playing with his wolf went viral and was amazing to watch.
Although they may be called “black wolves,” they are actually a darker variant of the gray wolf. They are also quite rare because their coat color comes from a genetic mutation.
It’s rare that we get to interact much with wolves, as they’re usually very afraid of humans. So witnessing something like this is completely surreal. But Akela has been with Andrey since he was a puppy, and it’s clear that they have an incredible bond.
The viral video begins with a “selfie” of Andrey and the big, beautiful wolf. Akela, who looks straight into the camera, with beautiful bright eyes and beautiful dark fur. Then Andrey’s “companion” sniffed him for a long time and bit his ear affectionately. He even put his paws on Andrey’s arm, climbed on his back, bit and pulled at the hoodie he was wearing.
Akela was very affectionate and playful with his best friend. He kept licking and biting Andrey’s hood and face as the video continues. Once again, he happily jumps on his friend’s back and gives his friend “wolf affection”. Andrey scratched him a few times, and Akela continued to lick and wanted more love.
It’s really cute to watch but also a little scary. by Akela This version of the game is a bit like a rough game between brothers, and he is a pretty big wolf. Not everyone will willing to accept his completely primitive behavior. But wolves are pack animals, and it’s clear that Akela has accepted Andrey as a member of his pack.
Andrey did his best to take care of Akela. He even set up a fundraiser so that he could provide all the appropriate accommodations and ensure that Akela was well cared for and comfortable.
