Hope For Paws is a great rescue organization that would never turn away an animal in need. They get a call about a Pit Bull that lives in the scrap yard. She is very dirty and hungry.
The woman who fed the dog, later named Karina, had little faith in the dog but she was never able to come close to pet it. The seasoned rescuer cut his job for him.
The rescue team, founded by a kind man named Eldad, uses cheese sandwiches to lure the dogs out of their hiding places. Cheeseburgers make it easier to get dogs close enough to put a leash around their neck.
When Eldad arrived, Karina smelled delicious food and walked over. She certainly hesitated but came close enough to eat the food placed on the ground. Then Eldad did what NO rescuers should do. He grabbed Karina’s legs to pull her closer.
While Eldad is very experienced, he warns viewers that such things should never be done. He was risking a bite of a sweet-looking Pit Bull. But thankfully, Karina remained calm. Eldad tied the dog on a leash and led it to the ambulance.
She is brought back to headquarters, where she receives a bath and lots of love. She was given a toy and was even introduced to some newly rescued kittens. This story is too good to ignore! Thank you Hope For Paws for helping so many animals in need.
