Malaysia Fuel Prices July 2024 First Week – RON97 Remains at RM3.47, Diesel Remains at RM3.35 a Litre

Today is Wednesday, which means it’s time for the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia again, with retail fuel prices announced by the Ministry of Finance for the coming week from 4 to 10 July 2024.

Diesel prices remain unchanged, prices were revised on June 10 when the government started subsidy rationalization program for fuel in Peninsular Malaysia. As such, B10 and B20 Euro 5 fuel remain priced at RM3.35 per litre, while B7 Euro 5 remains at RM3.55 per litre.

The subsidy rationalisation does not affect the retail price of diesel fuel in East Malaysia, thus, the main diesel grades and B7 grades continue to be priced at RM2.15/litre and RM2.35/litre respectively.

Meanwhile, the price of RON 97 petrol remains at RM3.47 a litre, which is also the same. last weekwhile RON 95 gasoline also remained at the same level. ceiling price RM2.05 per litre set by the Malaysian government in February 2021.

These fuel prices will be in effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, July 10, 2024, when the next fuel price update will be published. This is the 27th time this year that the weekly fuel price format has been used, and the 286th since it was introduced in early 2019.
