Macy Gray responds to those who are still criticizing her performance of the National Anthem— “Suck it!”

Roommate, weeks after her unique national anthem went viral, Macy Gray is clapping back to all those who are still criticizing her performance. On social media, Macy Gray posted a quick video and made it clear that she wasn’t flustered by all the jokes and manipulatives.

The NBA All-Star Game may have taken place a few weeks ago, but basketball fans are still voicing their opinions regarding the national anthem sung by Macy Gray. It’s safe to say that much of the feedback on her performance has been less than pleasant — and after rejecting it earlier, Macy’s is now taking a more direct approach.

In a recent TikTok video, Macy couldn’t help but express how she feels about social media users leaving negative comments on her page. Saying she has a “special” message for her critics in the video’s caption, she then goes on to say “All I can tell you guys is, to be honest, do it, you know what I mean. Take a big fat sucker. You can lick my little toe. Introduce you to my finger, you know which one you like.”

If you’ve watched the clip that is going viral, you’ll recall that many NBA players laughed at Macy Gray during her performance, especially league superstar LeBron James, despite his actually smiling has yet to be confirmed.
