Lyndon Arthur gestured to Wasserman

Lyndon Arthur will soon return to the ring after signing a new advertising contract.

The former Commonwealth light-heavyweight champion has been out of action since losing to Anthony Yarde in a rematch last December.

Arthur appointed Yarde in December 2020 to retain the Commonwealth belt while picking up the vacant WBO International gift.

He then defended the fringe WBO crown with an injury-time win over Davide Faraci in July 2021 before being stopped by Yarde for four rounds at the Copper Box Arena in London.

Both Yarde and Arthur have been inactive since their return clash, but with ‘The Beast From The East’ expecting a… October 22 clash with WBC, IBF and WBO world lightweight champion, Artur Beterbiev at the O2 Arena in London, it’s time for ‘King’ Arthur to step up his comeback preparations, starting with signing an advertising contract with Wasserman boxing.

The news was revealed on Saturday night and will see Arthur (19-1, 13 KOs) have his match aired on Channel 5 following his split from Frank Warren.
