LSG vs GT, Indian Premier League 2022 – Rashid Khan’s Four-Wicket Haul guides Gujarat Titans to playoffs, Spinner reaches T20 milestone

On Tuesday, Rashid Khan hit the huge T20 milestone in the Gujarat Titans (GT) Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The spinner had four runs in 24 runs as GT overcame LSG, winning 62 runs and also qualifying for the knockout round. The Afghanistan spinner’s four-stroke helped him hit 450 shots across all T20s, becoming only the third pitcher to do so after Dwayne Bravo and Imran Tahir.

Khan’s 4/24 is his best ever in the IPL. “I think a few games don’t go well, it’s all about my line and length. That’s what I was lacking in those games. The kind of speed that I take and the action I have. , I can’t lose Line and length and that’s what I missed in two or three games. It’s all about focusing on hitting the right area,” Khan said after the game.

Chasing a goal of 145 runs, LSG was dropped to 82 in 13.5 rounds with Rashid taking four shots.

While, Deepak Hooda is LSG’s top scorer with 27 hits and 26 balls.

During the ongoing season, Rashid won 15 hits and became an important cog in Pandya’s plans.
