Take off (born Kirsnick Khari Ball) passed away at just 28 years old on November 1, 2022 and this passing was a huge shock to the rap community.
Now, June 18, 2023, mark Migo rapper will be his 29th birthday, signaling an important milestone following his loss.
In honor of Takeoff’s heavenly first birthday, let’s take a look back at some of the iconic verses he brought to his fans.

“Sport car”
First, we have Takeoff’s line in “MotorSport”, which is boldly related to Nicki Minaj.
For context, Nicki was introduced on the track and Take was a bit bold in a few of his lines.
“If Nicki should show me her boobs
Right hand on the Bible, I swear I won’t tell.
If I could play with that cat
I wonder how many platinum discs we will sell.”
Nicki eventually addressed the lines on Twitter, noting that she “didn’t see those lines until the song came out.” Ouch!

“Last Memories”
On the fifth track of Last MissileTakeoff candidly tells fans what he’s all about with a whimsical space-themed verse.
“I went to space with the stars (Stars),
Can smoke blunt with my pilot (Cookie).
Saturn, Moon, Earth, and Mars (Mars),
NASA Rocket Take Off (NASA).”
Aside from some morbid space references, this “Last Memory” verse really captures the comforting energy Takeoff is known for.
“Culture”
Distinguish into CultureThe album’s title track features Take and DJ Khaled.
After DJ Khaled told some stories in the intro to “Culture,” Takeoff started off with some continuous tunes, which led to him announcing that Migos would have another album “coming out.” We stan sly marketing!
“I act like a *s, baboon.
That package of anesthetics, cocoon.
n *** a rich young in the room.
Ingenuity and ***a, no pandas.
For M&M’s in June.
Had a trip to Cancun.
CULTURE upcoming album (another one).”
“Intruder”
This was followed by “Intruder,” a song that Takeoff raps about attacking a home invader.
However, while doing so, Take will inevitably give his references. From mentioning potato peelers and cannibals to holidays like Halloween and Independence Day, Takeoff lets his imagination run wild with this verse.
“I have the right to kill them,
Potato peeler how do you peel.
Cannibalism, my dawg eats him (ruffled!).
No Halloween but I can trick or treat him,
Or the fourth july he and took his freedom (Take off!).”
“Sloppy sloppy”
This Travis Scott The track lets the listener know all of what’s in the title, and Takeoff shows up and shows off his savage side in the song!
With the track coming out back in 2014, it’s an earlier example of Takeoff’s take on his success.
“She dresses sloppily (Ugh),
B *** he wants my broccoli.
She’s after my money, Monopoly (Huh?).
Last name Twitter b *** he wants to follow me,
I made them swallow me up and kicked them off my property.”
“Hotel lobby”
In “Hotel Lobby”, Takeoff lets fans know it’s out of stock but is wise enough not to spill it also lots of tea.
Specifically, he recalls chilling and becoming “enjoyed” with some party girls while reminding himself to “relax” and not reveal everything.
He also mentions “cannibals” in the track, so it seems like a recurring theme for Takeoff.
“They are some cannibals (Eaters)
They love being geeked, drinking the whole bottle, waking up and repeating (Damn it)
She took a lil’ (Shh), mixed it with – (Relax)
Now she says she’s watching 3D (Wow)”
“Feeling Fiyaaaah”
Finally, we have “Feel the Fiyaaaah,” inserted Boomin subway‘S Heroes & Villains album and released about a month after Takeoff’s death.
In his verse, Take brings in some alphabetical puns, incorporating AZ throughout his part of the score.

Like the letter after A (Ayy).
I bought my new C (Chanel),
Then I brought her over D. (Let’s go).
Say she wants to get one e (Alright),
