LIV Golf returns to action this week as the 54-hole tournament takes place at Real Club Valderrama for the second consecutive season. Last year it was a three-man race as Taylor Gooch beat Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka en route to victory.

DeChambeau will be looking to make amends for his podium finish at LIV Golf Nashville the week after his impressive US Open win. Meanwhile, Koepka is looking for some form, having failed to finish in the top 20 in the first three major championships of the season despite hitting the ball well. A return to form on the greens could unlock his full potential this week in Spain.

In a similar boat to Koepka is two-time major champion Jon Rahm. The Spaniard is back in his homeland, looking for his first LIV Golf win of the season after withdrawing from LIV Golf Houston and the US Open, as well as a podium finish in Nashville. The former world No. 1 joins Sergio Garcia, Eugenio Chacarra and David Puig in the Spanish squad.

Cameron Smith continues his up-and-down season with Patrick Reed starting to find form through his play on the DP World Tour. Tyrrell Hatton arrives in Spain on the back of his maiden LIV Golf win and first win worldwide in three years with Louis Oosthuizen, Joaquin Niemann, Dustin Johnson and recent US Senior Open champion Richard Bland completing the action in the final event before the Open next week at Royal Troon.
