Beautiful action adventure RPG eastdeveloped by Shanghai studio Pixpil, may get some DLC in the near future — if SteamDB is anything to come across!
A brand new list, titled Looking East – OctopiaLast updated on SteamDB on 2nd Feb and discovered yesterday by u/maianh0 above Game leaks and rumors subreddit. This will be the game’s first major update since its release on Switch in October 2021, where it is a timed console exclusive.
Published by Chucklefish, Eastward is an homage to classic action-adventure games like Zelda from the top, while also embracing the weird and wonderful humor of earth limit, fables, and the like. There’s an entire game in the game called Earth Born where you can play through the entire turn-based roguelike and the game is super impressive to look at. Pure pixel art perfection.
We wouldn’t be surprised that, if this DLC listing is accurate, we might see it today as well. Nintendo Direct. Not something we have on our bingo cards, but we’re definitely going further East.
