Lisa Marie Presley will always be remembered.
The singer is the only child of Priscilla Presley and Elvis Presleydied at the age of 54 on January 12 after sudden hospitalization, her mother shared in a statement to Person.
“I am heartbroken to share the sad news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said. “She’s the strongest and loveliest woman I’ve ever known.”
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said: Tonight’s reception that she had had a cardiac arrest earlier in the day. However, the cause of her death has yet to be confirmed.
Her death comes two days after she appeared at the 2023 Golden Globes in support Elvis movie and four days after the music icon’s 88th birthday. (Elvis died in 1977 at the age of 42.)
In addition to her singing career, Lisa Marie is also the mother of an actress Riley Keough33 years old and 14 year old twins Harper and Finley. Her son Benjamin died by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27.
