Life is Good, Country Grammer Set for Dubai World Cup
WinStar Farm made a big profit during the $12 million Dubai World Cup sponsored by Emirates Airline (G1).

WinStar CEO, president and racing director Elliott Walden said on February 29 that both Life is good and Country Grammer will host the Dubai World Cup on March 26 in Meydan Racecourse.

WinStar purchased Country Grammer for $110,000 from Lane’s End consignment at the Keeneland All Ages Horse sale in January 2021 following the death of original owner Paul Pompa Jr. of Zedan Racing, which owns Medina Spirit, and Commonwealth Thoroughbreds, which sell a small stake in the horses, have joined the ownership group.
“We had a great partner in Amr Zedan who bought Country Grammer thinking we’d go to Dubai if all went well in the Saudi Cup and it happened,” Walden said.
