Kyle Rittenhouse Visits Trump After Acquittal
Donald Trump says Kyle Rittenhouse visited him after he was acquitted of shooting dead two men and wounding another man at protests in Kenosha.
“Really a good young man. What he went through – it should have been misconduct by the prosecution. He shouldn’t have had to go through a trial for that. He’s going to die,” Trump told Sean Hannity. “If he doesn’t pull the trigger, that guy puts the gun to his head, in a quarter of a second he’ll pull the trigger… Kyle will die.”
“Just left Mar-a-Lago a little while ago and he should never have gone through it. That’s criminal misconduct, and it’s happening all across America right now. now with Democrats.”
Rittenhouse was found not guilty of all charges related to his conduct during a racist rally in Wisconsin last summer. Rittenhouse insists the shooting has nothing to do with race.
“This case has nothing to do with race. It has nothing to do with race. It has to do with the right to self-defense,” he said.
