He may no longer be under the bright lights of Los Angeles, but Kyle Kuzma will remove these.
The Washington Wizards forward went viral on social media ahead of their game against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night, arriving at Capital One Arena in a giant pink sweater. Like extremely giant!
As NBC Sports Washington pointed out, when you get your team off to the start of this season, you’ve got enough water to wear whatever you want, but the timeline still carries jokes, with Kuzma’s name fast popular on social networks.
Kuzma posted a picture of himself kicking off a Raf Simons oversized sleeveless shirt on his Instagram, and it didn’t take long for some of his former teammates to start mocking him in the comments section.
Anthony Davis said to “You outta line sir!!!!” along with some smiley emojis, while LeBron James added “There’s no way you can dress like that!!! I didn’t hit the like button because this is too much Kuz!”
Meanwhile, DeMarcus Cousins commented “Cmon bro s**t hand out now,” while JR Smith hit him with a straight “Man hellll nawwwwwww.”
All was fun, his NBA colleagues let the jokes fly, but Kuzma’s commitment to the Pregame tunnel was on another level.
The Wizards went on to lose the game to the Hornets 109-103, ending their all-win streak as they remained in the Eastern top four 11-6 for the season.
In 2021-22, Kuzma is averaging 13.5 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting 40.9% and 35.1% away from the 3-point line.
They will be back in action on Wednesday, November 24 against the New Orleans Pelicans. We’ll have to wait and see what Kuzma is waiting for in the closet.
