Kazushi Kimura earned for the second time in a row Honeysuckle horse racing crown with 152 wins at the meeting, while his mount earned CA$8.9 million.
Born in Hokkaido, Kimura joined the horse racing colony Woodbine as a 19-year-old apprentice in 2018 and made a strong first impression. He finished his first Woodbine campaign in sixth place on the leaderboard with 89 wins and his mounts grossed over CA$2.3 million.
This year, Kimura won 15 shares, six of which are graded, at the Toronto oval, including EP Taylor Stakes (G1) with rogir King Edward Stakes (G2) on the train Filo Di Arianna Dominant Day (G3) shares with across and Cups and Plates with My dear Philip .
