Here’s our look back at Reverse Week — right here at Green car report—For the week ending February 4, 2022.

We’ve brought you our first two drives this week, from huge disparities of the electric vehicle spectrum. We found 2022 Kia EV6 becomes a small electric hatchback as awe-inspiring in the driver’s seat as it is from the outside; and we drove quickly in 2022 Ford E-Transit electric trucks, which offer a driving experience that is one step better than gas-powered cargo trucks — if that’s a little wonder.

As part of a recent event highlighting Ford’s holistic approach to electrifying work vehicles — and leveraging software services for small business owners to transform their fleet them — we also had our first trip in 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning electric pickup. In Pro guise, the car we rode was a quiet, no-frills horse that left us with some great first impressions. Ford also revealed a bit more information about how Lightning will be possible join with backup power at home, and act as an energy broker for home solar and work around peak loads. It will be the first electric truck to have the technology enabled, with key hardware – and optional solar power – installed in homes through a partnership with SunRun.
