Thousands of supporters, dressed in yellow, the color of Mr. Ruto’s party, poured into the streets of Eldoret in the Rift Valley. In contrast, in the western city of Kisumu, Odinga’s supporters blocked roads and set fires. Similar scenes took place in several towns and in the capital, Nairobi.
