Kendrick Lamar Will Be Next Year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Host: NPR
Kendrick Lamar will return to the Super Bowl stage, this time as the headliner.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper will perform Apple Music’s halftime show at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on February 9, 2025, the NFL, Apple Music, Roc Nation and Lamar himself announced on Sunday.
“Rap music is still the most influential genre of all time. And I’ll be there to remind the world why,” Lamar said in a statement. “They got the right guy.”
NFL Head of Music Seth Dudowsky added, “Few artists have had as profound an impact on music and culture as Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick has demonstrated his unique ability to create moments that resonate, redefine, and ultimately shake the foundations of hip-hop.”
