MIAMI – Ali Abdelaziz made a bold prediction for a potential boxing match between MMA fighters Kamaru Usman and boxing champion Canelo Alvarez.

Abdelaziz, the head of Dominance MMA who manages Usman and a host of other famous fighters, is pushing the UFC welterweight champion to get his desired boxing bout with Alvarez. Although UFC president Dana White not on board with the idea However, Abdelaziz said he really liked Usman’s chance against Alvarez.

“Kamaru will knock him out in three rounds,” Abdelaziz told MMA Junkie. “You can’t say no to Kamaru. He is a guy from Africa. He jumped a lot of obstacles. I believe in Kamaru. This is the difference between me and others. I believe in him, I live with him, I breathe with him, I die with him, I fight with him. He is a special person in my life.

“How many street fights Kamaru and I have been in? We had a lot of street fights, and I had to believe in him. I believe Kamaru can defeat any man alive.”

Abdelaziz said that Usman, who is #1 in the UFC pound-for-pound rankings and #2 on the USA TODAY Sports / MMA Junkie list, didn’t just want to try his hand at any boxer. He wants to go straight for the best. Abdelaziz also took a jab at the boxers because they didn’t want to switch to MMA.

“I know [Usman] didn’t want to fight Jake Paul; He didn’t want to fight Logan Paul,” Abdelaziz said. “He said I was the weight king in MMA, I wanted to fight cowards in boxing because I thought all these fighters were cowards because none of them wanted to come to MMA.

“Everybody wants to get into boxing, but at the end of the day, in a street fight, who is the ugliest man on the planet? They can’t say Canelo is the worst man on the planet. They can’t cite Canelo as the best boxer in the table because if they’re both on the street, who wins? Kamaru would spank his ass as if he had stolen something. ”

Usman, 34, is on a 19-fight winning streak and hasn’t lost since his second professional fight in May 2013. He has successfully defended his UFC welterweight title twice with two. wins over Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal, and a win over Gilbert Burns.
